School Account Manager

As a School Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with our valued clients and customers.

Working closely with our Head of Customer Accounts, Jane Ledwood, you’ll contribute to the continuous development of our business while providing exceptional service to schools and academies across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage renewal/upgrade orders, ensuring business growth through reselling of products and services to existing customers
  • Handle email enquiries promptly and efficiently from both personal and generic EDClass accounts
  • Conduct outreach to all schools and MATS in your portfolio, addressing their queries and concerns
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to both EDClass staff and customers, including online and offsite sessions

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

EDClass is dedicated to safeguarding children and young people. We are looking for an experienced DDSL to join our safeguarding team.

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead will manage safeguarding alerts, liaise with the teaching team and account managers, handle child and vulnerable adult protection issues, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with a strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Questionnaire and Safeguarding Alerts
  • Liaise with the Senior DSL for major incidents
  • Update Zoho CRM and Work Drive with accurate records

Multimedia Specialist

We are looking to grow our already existing and rapidly increasing Creative Media Team that is made up of a Research Editor, Drone Specialists, Photographers and Editors.

We are looking for a team of full time and permanent Editors to join us to work out of our busy Dinnington Office. We are looking for people who want to increase their already existing skills and knowledge to allow EDClass to continue to offer this vital provision for vulnerable students that struggle to learn in a traditional environment.

We are looking for new talent to join our Creative Media Team who will work closely with our Sales and Retentions team, Marketing team and Teaching and Learning team to ensure that our online lessons are innovative, engaging and reach far beyond industry standards.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the recording of live lessons from setting up the live classrooms, equipment management, directing teachers, editing and tagging, placing and appropriately naming the clips. You will be responsible for the full process of the recordings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the virtual classrooms ready for filming curriculum content
  • Technical equipment management
  • Supporting teachers while they create the video content
  • Quality checking content of proposed lessons then reporting any issues to the Head of Teaching and Learning
  • Editing newly created videos
  • Tag, place and name clips in the correct area of lessons and the correct lesson in the curriculum at the correct curriculum level
  • Filming lessons that are outside or in locations not in the office using our top of the range technical equipment
  • Quality checking previously made videos and working with the Teaching and Learning team to ensure they match our new lesson criteria and are embedded in the correct lessons
  • Be responsible for filming with the company drone – training for the license will be provided
  • Be responsible for picturing images or searching for image that are appropriate and not under copyright
  • Participate in meetings and offer ideas and suggestions of how to enhance our products
  • Working within the department, to ensure all content is created and stored in an appropriate manner
  • Working closely with the Management team and other key colleagues to ensure the suitability of all content that has been created
  • On some occasions be willing to travel to schools with the Research Editor and film interviews and drone footage to be used for marketing purposes for EDClass and the schools
  • Must have GCSE in English and maths grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Have a degree or equivalent in Multi Media
  • Must be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check
  • Have 2 years’ editing and filming experience
  • Hold a full driving license with less than 6 points
  • Be competent at using ICT software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be professional at all times and be capable of liaising with people on all levels
  • Be able to organise and prioritise using your own initiative
  • Be willing to compete annual CPD and any training necessary
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to a fast-paced working environment

We are in need of a dynamic, eager and motivated individual to learn and sell to a range of educational establishments, councils and multi academy trusts.

We are looking for a confident and professional individual to join an existing sales team in a well-established team environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other sales team members and our Chief Operations Officer, and at times independently, to assist the team reach their individual KPI’s and team targets.

We need you to have the desire to expand our market share as we provide a high quality of educational services to our clients.

As a member of our already existing sales team your key duties will include, but will not be limited to, the list below, as this role is varied, ever changing and always interesting.
