EDClass Attends Annual BESA Event

EDClass is to attend the much anticipated annual BESA event in London which will discuss important topics in education

The annual BESA event is to be held tomorrow and EDClass is looking forward to be attending. Guest speakers will deliver inspiring talks and the day offers an opportunity to connect with influential figures in the education sector.

Hosted at Southwark Cathedral, in London Bridge, the event will enable top figures in the industry to connect with companies. Important topics regarding education will be discussed and also the impacts of the pandemic over the past year on the sector.

Senior Manager Lee Bell has been working hard with parents over the past year

Senior Manager and Director at EDClass Ltd, Lee Bell, will be attending the event and he says he is looking forward to reconnecting with the influencers within education. Lee said:

“The BESA event is a great opportunity for educators and influencers to collaborate and see how they can improve education overall. It is an important event that has been on hold due to COVID so it will be really good to see the key figures within the industry face-to-face.”

There has been a two-year-long wait since the last BESA event due to the pandemic. EDClass, previously known as EDLounge, has been rebranded since then. The impacts of COVID have provided significant challenges, but EDClass has ensured support is provided to those students who desperately need it.

Lee added:

“We have continued to provide meaningful education to children when they could not attend school and we have supported parents. We have used this as an opportunity to grow with our clients and meet the needs of our learners with a focus on those who have additional needs such as those dealing with mental health. EDClass has ensured all of our learners had the support they needed and hopefully they will look forward to some normality in the upcoming academic year.”

Caroline Wright – The Director of BESA, Sir David Carter - The Director of System Leadership at Ambition Institute, and Rt Hon Damian Hinds - MP and previous Secretary of State for Education (2018-19) are just a few of the speakers attending the event.

Discussion topics will include; reflecting on the past year and beyond in UK education, international strategy post-COVID and what the future of curriculum and assessment will look like. Education has played an important role during the pandemic ensuring thousands of children remained focused and engaged.

Challenges within education have risen, such as increased elective home learning and the need for recovery for those learners that have missed a lot of education. The annual BESA event will allow important discussions to be held and companies to network with each other so the entire education sector can thrive.
