Functional Skills from Home

Functional Skills qualifications give learners the essential, practical skills and understanding to help them progress in work and life. They empower people by improving their reading, writing, speaking and all-round communication skills.

EDClass can deliver Functional Skills qualifications in English and maths to learners at home. The qualification is delivered online through tutor-led sessions and digital materials, accessible via a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

EDClass's unique screening assessment determines which level of qualification is suitable for each learner. Then our level-appropriate diagnostic tools identify 'gaps in knowledge' and skills to develop/practise, to inform the creation of bespoke 'Learnng Pathways' for individual learners. The pathway can either be accessed at any time by a learner, or timetabled, and it consistes of teacher support time and learning content (lessons / resources / videos / mock exams.)
