Ciara Jones

In sixth form, I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. Having a keen interest in the science of the human body, I then went on to study Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield. After gaining my degree, I decided that I wanted to teach science to help inspire the next generation of scientists. I trained to become a teacher by working in schools across South Yorkshire, whilst completing a PGCE in secondary science with QTS at Sheffield Hallam University. Once qualified, I then worked in secondary schools with students from Y7 to Y13, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am now working at EDClass, where I create online science lessons and provide subject-specialist support to learners who are working online.
