Sales Executive Role

We are hiring for a Sales Executive! 

About Us: 

 EDClass is a Department for Education accredited provider of online education which delivers engaging and innovative content to learners throughout the country whilst aiming to break barriers to learning.

EDClass is an educational business that provides teaching, learning and support to over 300 schools throughout the UK in a fully secure and comprehensive safeguarded learning environment and we need to add to our ever expanding team of Sales Executives.

THE ROLE:

Due to our best year ever and growth we are in need of a dynamic, eager and motivated individual to learn and sell to a range of educational establishments, councils and multi academy trusts. We need you to have the desire to expand our market share as we provide a high quality of educational services to our clients.

As a member of our already existing sales team your key duties will include, but will not be limited to, the list below, as this role is varied, ever changing and always interesting. 

We are looking for a confident and professional individual to join an existing sales team in a well-established team environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other sales team members and our Chief Operations Officer, and at times independently, to assist the team reach their individual KPI’s and team targets. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and demonstrate sales opportunities to school leaders and educational executives
  • Cross-sell and upsell products and services
  • Follow up on new business leads
  • Proactively chase leads through calls and emails
  • Provide system demos to potential customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital media teams to generate leads
  • Maintain industry knowledge and understand competitors’ products
  • Input and maintain accurate client information on the MIS
  • Provide accurate statistics and reports for analysis
  • Keep management updated on developments and customer requirements
  • Manage daily workload and prioritise tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for a full and enhanced DBS check with child and adult barred list
  • At least two years of experience in a competitive, target-driven sales position
  • Proven capability of closing sales
  • GCSE Maths and English Level C or above, or equivalent
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to speak to professionals at all levels
  • Intermediate or better understanding of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and work flexibly
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car
